As a Bible-believing Christian Church, we believe that genuine, meaningful life can only be found in relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
As a holiness Church, we believe that God's people no longer need to live in slavery to destructive sin, but can instead live a life of genuine freedom. We are in Llay, for Llay.
Our local Church was planted in Llay in 1940, and ever since then we've worked to be a blessing to our community. From newborns all the way up to Seniors; through weekly, seasonal and annual events, we endeavour to follow John Wesley's advice- Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can. |
We are locally focused, and globally minded.
We know that our Church is just one part of what God is doing in the world. As has been said, we are a tree in a story about a forest. As such, we want to invest in the work of God's Kingdom beyond our immediate local context. We know that through what we give, the people we send and the prayers we offer, we are making an impact we will only fully realise in Heaven.
Growing deeper and wider.
We believe that genuine life means walking with Jesus along the way. This means that God's people are called to grow deeper in our Christian maturity, and as a Church we want to facilitate that journey. But we also know that God's table is so big that there is a seat for everyone. As such, we want to grow wider, helping more and more people come to know the extravagant love of God.
